Bryan, Amy, Alicia and I headed out for the day and they took me to "The Falafel Place" (which is not it's official name, but what we all called it by the end) to have, what else, a falafel wrap! It was amazing. Freshly fried falafel that had a crisp golden outer layer with a smooth creamy inside. However the crust was not too thick and made it easily to squish the falafel around in the wrap to ensure some falafel goodness in every bite. Yes I've gone on about these delicious creatures for far too long, and no, I don't even have a photo of one. Food blogger fail.
Amy's friend Peter took us on a personal walking tour of the city and was full of extremely useful information. It's always great to have someone who lives in the area to show you around, they know pretty much the same story that a tour guide would tell you, but they've also got some interesting inside knowledge about things.

Once we reached the Opera House the wonderful and always cheery Alicia decided she needed to take her leave of our little group. It was at this point that Peter joined up with us to commence the tour of the city. Since we were there we started our tour with the Opera House that was currently closed, as it always is for the month of July. So didn't get a chance to go see an opera. Maybe I'll be back on day and do that.
We wandered around for awhile and saw things like:

While we were surrounded by all this food and drink we decided to stop and have a cheesy pretzel and a Raddler, which I was introduced to in Munich and have since fallen in love with. It was at this point that Amy received a phone call from Christie asking if she could meet us somewhere. Since we were almost done with our beer and cheesy pretzels we agreed.
Once Christie had joined us we continued our walking tour for a little bit and then headed to "The Beach" which is a bar near the canal which has sand and beach chairs. It's a great concept for sure. Our night ended with a beautiful sunset and a nice walk down some cute little streets.
