We made it safely to Vienna and got to Christie's friends' apartment after going in the wrong direction first for all of the detailed instructions that were given to us. Oh you say we have to walk 2 blocks back to your apartment, well we are going to walk forewords instead of walking back. What's that? there's also construction on your end of the cross street? We're going to walk away from the construction instead of towards it. Really, I'm not THIS bad at finding my way around, I don't usually get lost.
However I guess I can't complain because at least I got to see a tiny bit of the city today. Once Amy and Alicia (and Bryan, a friend who was also visiting them) got back to the apartment they cooked some delicious veggie wraps and took Christie out on the town for the evening. I, unfortunately, had to stay in and do school work. As I have managed to not do any and have fallen grievously behind.
Hence why I am sitting here now working on a blog instead of doing school work. A+ for me in procrastination. Okay, gotta get to it.
