My last day in Vienna, what will I do today? How about trying another wrap from that incredible Falafel place?! Why yes, I think I will. But maybe a Schwarmakebap this time? Sounds good to me! Once again, obviously, incredible. Good spice and accompaniments. Once again, no photo. I didn't go nuts with the food photos in Vienna for some reason. But "kebab" is a hard thing to eat while walking, let alone photograph while eating and walking. Near impossible! I can't be held accountable. The next thing on the agenda was a classic Vienna event. A ride through Vienna on a horse-drawn carriage. It was a great way to see the city, and our tour guide was absolutely fantastic. The outfit and curly moustache won us all over immediately. I got to see a lot of the things that Peter had shown me earlier in the trip, but also got to see some things I hadn't. Like the Vienna Riding School!

Once our tour was over, we were conveniently dropped off right at Stephansdom. Time to explore the inside!! It's quite something. Beautiful stain glass windows, huge vaulted ceilings and unbelievable chandeliers. I'm so glad we were able to make time to go inside.
Since Christie and I needed to catch a train at 8:30PM, we knew we had tons of running around to do beforehand so we said our goodbyes and split up from our wonderful hosts. Next on our list was to write some postcards while sitting at a cafe having a coffee and a piece of chocolate cake. Two things Vienna is famous for. And we completed our goal in spades.
However, we first stopped in to grab a bite to eat at a chain restaurant that Ryan introduced us to in Munich. It's called Vapiano and we definitely need one of these in Moncton, or at least somewhere on continental North America. Continuing with my burgeoning love of Caprese salads that is exactly what I had. Christie opted for some pasta and we shared our delightful (yet somewhat rushed) last meal together in Vienna.

Luckily our waiter didn't give us too many condescending looks and we got to enjoy, what I can only describe as the most delectable chocolate cake ensemble I've ever had the luxury of eating.

Even the presentation was extraordinary. After our this small indulgence we had to run (almost literally) from the square back to the apartment and then off to our train station. We cut it VERY close on this one. So, farewell Vienna, and farewell Amy and Alicia (and Bryan)! It was great to hang out with you in Vienna, hopefully we'll meet up again sometime!
