Happy Independence Day USA!
Woke up early to get ready to leave. Shower was hilarious, no hook on the wall for the shower hose head. Ran to the post office to send off our postcards, which will hopefully make it to their destinations… we'll see, and then came back to the hostel to check out and get to the train station, where I successfully made it up the hill I fell down on the first day.
So far we have successfully sent our postcards, walked to the train station without getting lost or falling down and made it to the train with time to spare. And Ryan will be meeting us at the train station to help us to our hostel and then take us out to see the town. It'll be nice to catch up with an old friend who I haven't seen in awhile. The sun is even starting to come out! It's shaping up to be a very nice day.
Spoke too soon, just learned that there is a strike, not sure where, but it means our train is moving SUPER slow and we have to get off at a stop and take a bus to another station and then get back on another train to get to Munich. I'm sorry Ryan! I hope you're not waiting too long for us...
